Tula’s Silver Bright Flux is a homogenous brazing flux that can be practically worked
with various alloys. Silver Bright Flux is presented in the white smooth paste. The fluid-
like characteristic provides the high viscosity of filler materials to spread across the
based metal’s surface. Under the controlled chemical reaction, Silver Bright Flux is
formulated from the mixture of a weak borate acid and fluoride compound.
Silver Bright Flux is compatible for brazing copper, steel, stainless steel, nickel and
most ferrous alloys application using the AWS A5.8 BAg class filler materials. However,
Silver Bright Flux is not recommended for any aluminum metal composition.
DIRECTION USE:
Apply a thin layer of Silver Bright Flux on the surface. Then, firmly connect subject
metals together. Start to heat the connection until Silver Bright Flux become clear,
and apply the filler materials.
***Sliver Bright Flux can be thinned by water.***
ACTIVITY TEMPERATURE RANGE:
565-870˚C (1050-1600˚F)
To clean both Silver Bright Flux and its residues, the coated subject should be either
submerged, rinsed or washed off using warm or hot water. To increase the cleaning
effectiveness, the mechanical method can be applied, a wire brush and steam jet.
